Notice of Public Hearing

Notice is hereby given that a Public Hearing will be held during the regular scheduled meeting of the Housing Authority of The City of Statesboro, GA Board of Commissioners, on Thursday, January 8, 2026, at 6:00 p.m., for comments on the following items:
Statesboro Housing Authority’s Capital Fund Five-Year Action Plan (2026-2030);
NEW Capital Fund Five-Year Action Plan 2025-2029; and
Revisions to the SHA Five-Year Plan (2025 – 2029) and 2026 Annual Plan Update.

As required by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, starting November 20, 2025, all documents will be available for review over a 45-day period on the Authority’s website: statesboroha.com or at the central office located at:

                      33 Cone Homes
                      Hwy 80 East
                      Statesboro, GA 30458

The Public Hearing will be held at the above location. Any person wishing to comment on the documents listed above may file his or her comments in writing with the Authority’s Executive Director at the above address by 5:00 PM on Monday, January 5, 2026, or may attend the board meeting. All comments will be considered in preparing the final documents prior to submittal to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.
