SHA Agency Plan Public Hearing Notice






Notice is hereby given that a Public Hearing will be held on September 11, 2025, at 6:00 PM during the regular scheduled meeting of the Housing Authority of The City of Statesboro, GA Board of Commissioners, for comment on changes to the Statesboro Housing Authority’s Admissions and Continued Occupancy Plan (ACOP)- Chapter 4 Application, Waitlist and Tenant Selection, as required by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. Starting July 17, 2025, the document will be available for review over a 45-day period on the Authority’s website: statesboroha.com or at the central office located at:

                      Hwy 80 East
                      Statesboro, GA 30458

The Public Hearing will be held at the above location. Any person wishing to comment on the document listed above may file his or her comments in writing with the Authority’s Executive Director at the above address by 5:00 PM on September 8, 2025, or may attend the board meeting. All comments will be considered in preparing the final document prior to submittal to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.
